5. AI Chat Assistant

Our website includes an AI chat assistant that answers questions about Ethioware's programs. When you use the chat assistant, we store the conversation transcript, along with any name, email address, phone number, or organization you choose to share with it (for example, so a team member can follow up about enrollment, a partnership, or a sponsorship). Some partnership, pricing, sponsorship, and donation questions require a name and email before the assistant can answer, so our team can follow up directly.

Chat transcripts are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted. Contact details you provide through the chat assistant (name, email, etc.) are retained the same as other inquiries we receive. Chat data is used only to respond to you and improve the assistant's answers — it is not sold or shared with third parties beyond the service providers (such as our AI provider, Google) needed to generate a reply.
